Onkarabile Mooketsi is an Angels Resource Centre Agri entrepreneur based in Zeerust, in the North West province of South Africa. She is currently enrolled in the Angels Agri4Change programme sponsored by Zeerust Solar.
Here we see Lolo, as she is fondly known, hard at work as usual, harvesting a really good crop of spinach on her
land outside Mahikeng during the month of March. Her dedication to her training programme has seen the growth and development of her SMME crop farming business, Mompati Projects.
Lolo’s example highlights the importance of the work done by Angels Resource Centres rural development projects, assisting both rural and metropolitan micro-farmers and entrepreneurs, walking the road with them, helping them get set up to ensure productivity, enabling them to not only become sustainable but also strive towards providing employment and services that meet the needs of their communities.
