Who We Are: At Angels Resource Centres, we are more than rural development implementation specialists, we are partners and changemakers. We work alongside rural communities across South Africa, walking the journey with individuals who carry ideas, resilience, and untapped potential. Many of the entrepreneurs we support are not lacking vision, they are navigating barriers that exceed their current capacity. Our role is to bridge that gap.  Through our programmes, we support the growth of sustainable small businesses, helping rural and survivalist entrepreneurs move from informal activity to structured, income-generating enterprises that create real economic impact.

Our Approach: The Life Chain This approach represents a transformative way of working, one that sees the community as a connected, living system.  We do not work in isolation or short-term interventions. Instead, we engage all stakeholders in a shared journey, allocate funding with intention and accountability, build long-term partnerships and focus on solutions that are owned and driven by the community.  This approach ensures that development is not done to communities, but with them, resulting in outcomes that are relevant, resilient, and sustainable.

What We Do: We design and implement Corporate Social Investment (CSI) and Economic Development programmes that empower.  Whether it is youth seeking opportunity and direction, women building livelihoods and leadership, entrepreneurs ready to grow sustainable businesses, or communities striving for long-term resilience, our work is grounded in real engagement.  We listen, understand, and co-create solutions that benefit the entire community, not just individuals.
